Specialty Pulp Manufacturing, Inc. is engaged in the manufacture, sale, and export of food grade and non-food grade bleached and unbleached specialty pulp, mainly from abaca, as well as other natural long fibers such as sisal, kenaf, and jute.  SPMI specializes in abaca pulp which serves as a raw material for manufacturing high-quality specialty papers.  Its state-of the-art facilities are located in Baybay, Leyte, Philippines.  The plant is conveniently located just two hours away from the major international port of Cebu City and three hours of travel time from Metro Manila, the Philippine capital.
